Gothic churches a perfect setting for Halloween celebrations so head to Trinity Church, located downtown at 79 Broadway for some spooktacular activities on Friday, October 30th.
Family friendly fun takes place from 4 to 6 pm in the North Churchyard.
The Haunted Hamilton (Non-Alcoholic) Happy Hour kicks off at 6pm and runs until 8pm in the South Churchyard. The neighborhood raises a toast to churchyard denizen Alexander Hamilton. I'm not sure what Hamilton has to do with Halloween but okay. Perhaps bringing your own flask will make the hours happier, hmmmm...
The highlight of the night takes place at 8 pm when you can watch the film classic The Phantom of the Opera starring horror superstar Lon Chaney. Candlelight and organ accompaniment make this a spooky must see.
Did I mention all of this is free?!
