No I have not all of sudden made this a finance blog, but the economic crisis has without a doubt been a motivating factor in my passion for finding affordable things to do in the city. Not to mention the fact that the financial institutions at the center of discussion call our city home.
If you have an interest in the topic, you may want to check out this free lecture sponsored by The Center for New York City Affairs, The New School Graduate Program in International Affairs and Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy.
The lecture by Richard Parsons, Chairman of Citigroup and Senior Advisor for Providence Equity Partners, takes place on Tuesday September 14th from 6pm to 8pm. An RSVP is required since seating is limited. Call 212.229.5418 or Email centernyc@newschool.edu
Location:Theresa Lang Community and Student Center, Arnhold Hall, 55 West 13th Street, 2nd floor
