At this time last year, I shared a post about how my dad instilled in me an excitement for this time of year. I love the gatherings with friends and family, the lights and the decorations.

So many people travel to New York this time of attend the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall, Visit Santa at the Herald Square Macy's, and walk down 5th Avenue to catch a glimpse of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. The holidays aren't complete for me until I take that stroll and get lost in the magical glow of the season. Here's a glimpse of the 2012 displays.

Eloise's Tree at the Plaza Hotel
If you stop into the Plaza Hotel, you have to head downstairs to the The Plaza Food Hall where food heaven awaits. It reminded me of the food havens located on the lower levels of the Japanese departments stores we visited this past summer. We shared a luscious lobster roll from Luke's Lobster, a Godfather sandwich from Sub No. 7, and a slice each of Lady M's famous Mille Crepe and Chocolate Mille Crepe cakes... AH-MAY-ZING!!!

I know you can't all make it to New York so here's a front row view of the video display outside Sak's Fifth Avenue. Enjoy and Happy Holidays!
